So you are not supposed to judge a book by its cover right? How about reality? Can you judge it by its cover or is there something more underneath? This is likely the first of many Ted Talks that I post on this site. I try to watch one before I go to bed each night. No better way to guide the mind to an exceptional dream state. This one in particular will bend your mind before its through. Well done Donald Hoffman.

How it is that anything so remarkable as a state of consciousness comes about as a result of irritating nervous tissue, is just as unaccountable as the appearance of the djinn when Aladdin rubbed his lamp in the story.
